2.25 vs 2.5 IC pipes
Wouldn't I see faster boost with the 2.25' pipe than the 2.5? What would be the cons/pros between them?
I ask because I found these kit on eBay (2.25")

Cheap too..

You can use that one, however the 2.5" piping allows for more air so in the long run if you ever upgrade your turbo the 2.25" might not be able to push out as much as you would prefer. However, with a stock turbo this would do well as it would take the turbo less time and less air to fill the pipes. I think its better to go bigger for future planning but that's just me and I like to push every car I get as far as I can

That was my first thought. It is the exact same ebay kit you gve me but bigger pipes and has the boost controller.. Hmmm..What to do...

Plus the one I gave you has black couplers instead of blue so they dont show dirt and look ugly eventually. If you offer $400 on the one i sent he will accept it. The boost controller you can sell for about $50 usually if you dont plan to use it.

Yeah it depends on how much are in CFM a particular engine is moving, some industrial generators that are turbocharged use small diameter piping like suggested as they are moving a certain amount of air and that is all. But on a conventional performance application that diameter would become a restriction eventually.
