So this has been a long time coming and I think it is about time I do it seeing as my clutch is slipping like crazy. I will hopefully be installing a new clutch this weekend. But I had a question or two about it.

Does anyone know a good manual I could find that would explain such a procedure, or someone who might be able to walk me through it this weekend?

Also if you have done something like this yourself, how much of a pain is it to actually do it?

And one more thing before I install it. The flywheel, is it dual or single mass? Reason I am asking is becaush most place's will not resurface them if they are dual. If you could help me out there that would be great.

It's actually a pretty straight forward procedure..... just time consuming. If you have access to a lift it makes it a lot easier. Separating the tranny from the block is a major PITA. If I wasn't on call this weekend I would be down to help you out. If you look on NASIOC there should be a DIY.

Ahh you are doing it at the hobby shop? I'll stop by and give you some help for a little while then. Shouldn't take you more than a few hours.

@Joaquin lol I did two full tranny swaps at the same time. Guy wanted to trade me his oem 06 WRX TR tranny plus $3500 for my ppgs but he knew nothing about trannies so I swapped both and just had him and his friends there as dumb muscle haha

Dutch rudder perhaps? Tranny's were all over the SS-11 in Italy

Here is the DIY from RS25. Nearly identical to replacing the WRX in regards to removing the tranny Razz and what not. The scissor jack trick is awesome and saves having to drop the suspension.

Awesome! Good to hear you got it all taken care of. How difficult was it to separate from the block?

It wasn't hard when Rego got a hold of it. He had it off the block and down and everything back together in 3 hours. It was epic. I will be at the next meet for sure. Unless the ball and chain keeps me home lol.
