Subaru knows how to make commercials. This is the best one I've seen in a long time. The suspense was amazing. When the car finally comes drifting through the smoke, I had this sudden urge to flex all my muscles and do a manly yell. And I thought it was over, but then it shows the car drifting again. So I flexed and yelled manly again in response. Amazing.

That is going to be a great platform, the chassis looks amazing from the ground up. The engine is direct injected and port fuel injected, not sure how strong it is internally but with a little boost or some engine work it would kick ass!

I still don't like this car regardless of the reviews.

Hahah why? I mean forget that it is a joint venture between the two companies but as a car it is something that has been missing I think... I'm sure its fun to drive, I will never own one, but I think it will has the potential to be a great car.

I'm not fond of it for a variety of reasons, but the biggest is just what you just said. It has the potential. If it was a great car out of the box, I would like it better. I just feel that for the price, the car is not worth it. I for one want more for my money in the form of performance.

I understand. There is alot of hype around it, I have read a few reviews in Modified and one in Road&Track or Motortrend I cannot remember. But the consensus is it needs more power, which is obvious by its numbers I do agree that even though the price is considered low or inexpensive it should be much cheaper than it is priced at. I imagine if it sticks around it will get more power, refinement and more expensive losing its original marketed "appeal"

Well, the 2013 model is going to be equipped with a 2.0l turbo H4 that will produce around 265 horsepower. Similar numbers to the 2.5 WRX. However, they are talking about a base price around $45k which is not worth it in my opinion. Also, in 2014 they will be releasing a convertible BRZ and FRS

That makes sense, get everyone to bite when its cheap "kinda" then make them feel insufficient with their 200hp and want the 265hp version thats alot more expensive good marketing.
