Feels pretty good too, and I'm only using the street tune.  I'm tempted to play with the other ones.

On the down side, I tore the muscle in the ball of my foot on the the forth lap on my APFT on a 1/3 mile track.  Hurt like hell and still passed (30 seconds slower, which was pretty good all things considered), but I am in some serious hurt these last 48 hours.

I forced myself to go to the ER.  I still can't put any weight on that foot without wanting to puke from the pain.

Damn!  How to tear a foot muscle by just running?  Time to buy some Vibram Fivefingers and strengthen those bad boys.

Plantar Fasciitis.  I've had this issue since 2009 in the same foot.  Usually It works itself up gradually over a few days in severity and I just have to take it easy for a little.  This happened pretty much without warning.

Awww yes.  That's what I was thinking.  Seen plenty of that in the aide station.  No real cure other than rest, ice, and stretching.  Worst cases a bone spur develops

I've been told that surgery is a possibility other than for bone spurs.  I have yet to get one, which is good.

As it stands, the stuff the ER Doc gave me is working wonderfully.  In the past all Iv'e gotten was pin killers, braces, and stretching techniques.  This is the first time that I can remember getting an oral steroid, but it and the pain killer are working great!!!!!  Funny as this is the worst the pain has ever been too, but after one whole day of this stuff and I can walk a little more normally already with a rapid decrease in pain.

By getting it done, do you mean raking the sand in preparation for a sand castle contest and perhaps bikini mud wrestling?  If so, I may just have to fly back for that.

Nice. If you have grass, good luck keeping the desert from taking over.  We had a nice plush green lawn on post the first summer, then slowly the weeds came and took it back.

It does take a hell of a lot of work to maintain grass in El Paso.  Prime reason why I zeroscaped.

The Purge is not kid friendly.  Plus, I boycotted paying to see a fast and furious movie after 3.  I've remained strong and true to my word much to the dismay of many.

Ugh!!!!!  There are some mods that cost next to nothing in parts, but are a nightmare to do.  This mod took me all day to do and I'm still not quite done.  FML
