NEW TO EPAWD

Hello My name is Percy and i am new to your forum . I live in EP and I am currently working on a Hybrid build for a 02 BUGEYE nicknamed "Left Lane Bully" . So far i have got the 2.5 block, and EJ20 heads and a 04 STI tranny. I am waiting on the internals and a few more parts which will be manley pistons with eagle rods . I will post pictures once i start and ask questions if needed. Hope i don't run into any issues but what fun would that be . I found this post in search of a set of STI BBS 5x100 so if anyone knows anyone with a set please let me know . i also have a torn apart EJ20 in my garage so PM if you need something .

Welcome to the site. Kind of off topic but how long have you owned your bugeye? Trying to track down my old one (has a paint bemish on the driver side rear fender)

Thanks for the warm reception . yeah i wanted to do something diffrent and i came across this website called bugeyegarage.com from that point on and after realizing that there is a great amount of subaru parts that are interchangeable i have set out the built a ride both good looking and functionably enought to take on a GTR. , no offence there guys but one has to have a dream. Just like how nissan built the GTR to take Porsche head on.
No problem i will use all the help i can get . i am trying to find a pressure waser for a few hours to clean the bay and some more hard to reach places . but i waiting on the internals so all i have to do now is prep work.

@ chaz 2.5 , which one of the bug eye? I have had one since June and the other since august. One is blue and the other is red . blue one as seen in the picture has sun damage paint and the red one. well i would have to look at it as i have kept it hidden since i brought her home .

It would be the blue one. I sold it locally a few years back to a guy who then sold it about a year later after putting an HKS CBE on it. Saw it on craigslist last summer and up at WBAMC. On the driver side rear quarter there is a paint blemish about 2"x 2" maybe. May have had a bosal shorty DP on it as well as Autobahn88 tmic silicone Y, TB coupler, and recirc tube in blue. Just trying to track down the the current owner as I still have one of the keys.

Yeah . i think i am the guy you looking for . I think the guy i got it from was a Captain and he said it was a stolen recovery. The HKS CBE and the paint blemish is spot on. It currently sitting idle as i have another bugeye i am trying to finish putting together . I think Christmas this year is gonna be awesome. lol

Sweet! The kicker would be when you fill it with gas. Keeps shutting off after $1. Thinking the vent valve is damaged. If it is in fact the car, I have that key for it that I'd like to get to you when you have a chance.

Yeah man let me know when you wanna meet up but right now i am in a bind . HELP NEEDED URGENTLY - i started the build on my hybrid motor but the street pro by cometic gaskets DO NOT COME WITH the 4 o-rings needed to mate the sti blocks together and i cant seem to find them anywhere . anyone have a set sitting around ? ill compensate you please let me know as thats all thats holding me up right now . I have the old gaskets but i dont wanna take the chance as it would be alot of work to pull the block apart for something so simple . i can give you my number and meet you to get the parts . this is a distress shout out. lol thanks
