My plans for my Mid Tour leave
so i just spent some hard earned money on new mods for my WRX (Jade), and im going to be posting updates on here as to the progress and improvements i notice in power delivery and response. the parts i ordered that will have a noticeable change are the Torque Solutions Rear Differential Bushings and Transmission Mount. those combined should help delivr a bit more response time to the wheels. i also bought the Godspeed Air/Oil Seperator cap instead of the catch can, helps reduce a few pounds and ALOT of engine bay space. i think that part is probably the coolest innovation to an upgrade yet. if you havent seen them yet, its a cap that goes over your oil fill spout, and it delivers all your oil in the intake system back into the fill spout instead of a can that you have to empty. easier, smaller, lighter and most of all better looking. i also finally fixed my mistake of ordering the wrong radiator shroud and license plate relocator. i had ordered the 04-07 versions without noticing, but now i have the 11+ versions on their way. also i will be having my Tial 38 MM EWG down pipe welded onto my Tomei 3 bolt flange up pipe so i can start running that. old wastegate was 2 bolt, and with my uel headers it changed to a 3 bolt. so thats my intentions, i will need some help from people who have done these upgrades before and will be consulting preston since he was the one who gave me these ideas, but feel free to let me know your knowledge on the matter. thanks!

also, come tax time i will be moving toward suspension. all motor upgrades will hault after this to prevent over tuning too early. after suspension then i will go back to the motor with internals, then ill go stage 3 and try for 500+ whp.
Re: My plans for my Mid Tour leave
correction to list, Grimmspeed not godspeed, was kinda out of it when i wrote this
Re: My plans for my Mid Tour leave
also got the tomioka racing air pump delete plates on order, going to finally delete that annoying air pump. and seeing as how i dont have any cat's any more, i dont need the pump to burn off the unused fuel inside them. so theres a few more pounds shed.
Re: My plans for my Mid Tour leave
Lol I saw Godspeed aos and I was like, da fuq? lol anyways i'll be down to help install, a lot of it is really easy so it shouldn't take very long.
Re: My plans for my Mid Tour leave
We look forward to your return. Any plans as far as transmission upgrade for that 500 whp?

Re: My plans for my Mid Tour leave
no plans set in stone. i know i want to keep it a 5 speed, but as for upgrades not much knowledge of transmissions. i know ill need to upgrade the dif, axels and drive shaft though. any suggestions?
Re: My plans for my Mid Tour leave
Ill have to research those, check out all available plans. Yeah ill be hitting you and preston up alot when im there, ill be at all the meets too
Re: My plans for my Mid Tour leave
got a bit carried away with the mods, like they say you cant stop at one. on top of the aos, tranny mount and rear dif cross member bushings, I got a radiator shroud, license plate relocator, as mentioned before the tomioka air pump delete kit, password jdm front bumper quick disconnects, rallyarmor mud flaps and torque solutions pitch stop. after I started adding parts I realized I needed more solid power to the wheels so im going bushing and mount crazy right now. got a lot of plan for that as well. such as more crossmember bushings, the rear subframe lock downs, ect. its going to be fun. holding off on the ewg till I get protuned. overall I notice more response in shifts and launches, and a slight (maybe delusional) increase in my octane rating from the aos. oh and most important, finally thermal wrapped my header,s I put that off entirely too long even though I had the wrap since day one.
Re: My plans for my Mid Tour leave
forgot to add the rear diff subframe mount bushings, got those on order as well.

When it comes time for suspension, check out Feal, and get the stock struts revalved for a different spring setup. Cheaper than coilovers and a lot less maintenance.
