Seibon hoods are great, just make sure that it fits and sits well on the car. By that I mean that some but not all carbon fiber hoods are offset and makes the front of the car droop a little. Sorry for the rant! I don't think its rice, the rice look is when car parts are thrown together and it looks horrible. If you have the patience and money, you should purchase a Varis CF hood and trunk to match. Check this link out below:

1. hood -

2. trunk -

Hey in my picture I have a carbon fiber hood. I like them and I especially like when people do theirs like mine (Painted). It gets you the tiny bit of lighter weight hahaha but it also personalizes your car. With the paint it keeps it less noticeable though!

I have a seibon hood and the fit was is perfect. Just be sure to get it clear coated immediately or it WILL OXIDIZE unless you straight paint it. I love the carbon look but it does take some work to keep it nice.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the carbon fiber look, and I feel that the couple hundred spent on that could go toward more power upgrades or a better tune. They do look nice if they are painted or well kept btw.

I probably gained 2 pounds with that upgrade. Now I just need to lose 2+ pounds on myself and make up for it. FREE MOD!

I love the CF look. I just installed the Seibon CF hood on mine and it looks great. Fitment was not a 100% Sad
