2012 El Paso DSM/EVO Cookout - July 8th

2012 El Paso DSM/EVO Cookout on Sunday, July 8th from 11-2pm at Ascarate Park. RSVP with number attending and what you are bringing. More info can be found on DSMtuners or EvolutionM. Post on one of those sites, or here and I will copy it over, to RSVP.

Spread the word to all of your DSM/EVO/3000GT/Starion/etc buddies. Let's make this a fun event with a good turnout!

Lol Alan, well my DSM is FWD so I didn't join here until I bought the EVO. Tell your brother to come look at these Evo 8 Enkeis, I've got like 8 other people that want them too.

The time is currently being rediscussed and is between 11am and 6pm. If anyone is going from here, what are your thoughts on the time? I would like to have this decided for sure by the end of the day.

We had a last minute time change. It is now at 6:00pm to help avoid some of the heat.

Yes sir, i've owned quite a few AWD cars, I also have a 00 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS

With your name and avatar I would have thought you had an EVO, lol. The cookout is open to any and all DSM/EVO/3000GT/Starion owners and enthusiasts. You do not have to currently have one.

TOMORROW at 6:00 pm at Ascarte Park! Don't forget! See you guys there and don't forget to bring the stuff you volunteered for or else we could be missing some critical ingredients! It looks like we should plan to feed about 40-50 people so plan accordingly with what you are bringing Also if anyone is able to get there early to help Alan hold a spot that would be awesome! His name is cesar. I met him at the wednesday car meet in fox plaza.

Success! It was an great turnout and lots of fun! It was awesome seeing the old guys and meeting a whole bunch of new guys (and gals ). At one point when I counted we had 25 DSM's, EVO's, and a 3000GT VR4. Plus there were more cars the came late or left early. I'd say we had a good 50+ people there.

I'd like to think every one for making it out there! We had a few guys that traveled great distances including Tony who drove straight there from a trip to San Antonio and Jim who was on R&R from his deployment in the Middle East.

I also finally got to meet the guy with the black Evo that lives in my neighborhood and keep confusing my wife (where were you going? I just saw you drive by!). Apparently he's had the same issue with his girlfriend seeing my car, (why was your car parked at this other house, I saw it there!) LOL! (I don't know how they get them mixed up though because his is way cleaner then mine. )

Here are a few pics that Ray Luna took. I was too busy mingling and trying to grill to even think about snapping pics. If anyone else has pictures please post them!

Pretty good meet, you guys will have to come out to an EPAWD bbq now Anyways, I hope to see all of you out at the track on saturday with us. We will be cruising there so invite everyone else that has evo or awd so we can have a good time!
