Hey welcome to the group, unfortunately though, Im afraid you wont beat my STi or my EVO lol. But maybe we can help you modify your car a bit to make it even faster than what it already is

lol sorry sir but 1/4 of a mile doesn't mean you can beat a car. take it to the track and run circuit. anyone can run straight.

Re: new sti killer here
Hey I used to run around a circuit track all the time here in Virginia, I'd be willing to come out and take it around a few times. I dont really race 1/4 mile anyways, this friday will only be my third time ever on a drag strip. As long as my power steering is acting correctly now I'll get people together so we can all cruise down there together.
@SVT, I've never ran my Sti here on the 1/4 mile. I'll see what I put down this weekend hopefully, however I see people running slow times here so Ill see what I can get out of mine since they dont prep the track

Re: new sti killer here
Oh btw, your evo is very clean, who took the pics? I dont think I could take my STi in the sand drags, maybe the evo or the RS but the STi probably not haha
Re: new sti killer here
Welcome to the forums! Nice Evo, and those sand drags look fun...

I didnt say it meant that a car cannot beat another it was a simple question out of curiosity, and drag racing is alot more complex then driving in a straight line. Ever heard of bracket racing? It doesnt matter how much hp a car has it comes down to who is the better driver.

Best days to go to the track are before they have the Sat races, they usually prep the track better on race weekends then non race weekends. The next race is i think the 14th of july.

I swear I've seen your car before. Do you come on post at all? I always see a red Evo, but trying to place the black body parts.

sir ur wrong here hp makes a huge difference on the drags ,
like a stock miata will not beat a cobra no matter how good the miata driver is, but on a track i seen miatas taking on vipers and miata just with suspension and good tire,
and bracket racing ur just racing yourself to get the same time over and over again i guess that the complex part...
dont get me wrong i love drag racing but after trying both i got to say circuit is more technical
