I just got an offer from a guy in Dallas. He wants to trade me his 06 STI with 69000 miles, straight trade, no cash. His car is worth about $24000! I said yes, lol. We'll see how things turn out in the next week or so.

That sounds a little shady to me. Might be a scam artist if he says he wants to send you his car and you send him yours. Make sure he brings you the car.

That doesn't make sense. A $24K car for a $9K car? If it's for real then that is a once in a lifetime trade

I'm thinking the same thing. He called me today and said he's thinking of backing out because someone offered him an '09 turboed Miata. I told him that's fine, if he wants to drive his fiance around in a barbie car, that's his choice. But if he wanted to turn heads all through town, not just cause of his beautiful new wife but also because of his beautiful jdm legend, then he knows how to reach me. He said he would talk to his fiance and think it over for a bit. I think I make a pretty good salesman lol. I also made this video to convince him:

I am pretty sure I saw you on I-10 the other day. Friday the 3rd it would have been. Car sounds very healthy and seems to move pretty well for a n/a MR2. If you still have it glws.
