Was relatively productive today. Put the SPT turbo heat shield back on. Cleaned up all my tools and cleaned out the garage. So much more room and already getting ideas for a Halloween setup for trick or treaters.

No Halloween for me. Nothing but studying for my first test on Wednesday. Anything less than an 80 is a fail in this course.

Had a buddy at SLC in San Antonio during this fiasco. Funding was cut to them after I think a week. They still got their DA 1059's and don't have to return for completion. Sad but at the same time, if SLC is anything like ALC, they weren't learning anything they already didn't know. At least the majority of them anyways.

That's what will possibly happen with this course too. Technically, this is an "MOS" producing course and an exception has been asked for.

As far as SLC, that's not a course I would want only a week of. There is a lot of stuff an up and coming SFC needs to learn that I'm certain they do not teach at ALC just given what I've seen in my own NCOs over the years.

True story! Another joy was the girl didn't even show for her appointment. Double whammy!

Thinking I'm just going to end up keeping my RS. All the good replacements are in the Northwest or the Northeast. A guy has a really clean 00 white coupe in Cali but doesn't seem to want to return my e:mails and PM's.

Truthfully, just enjoy your car. It's too easy to sell it when feeling fickle only to regret it. I had a few cars I regret letting go.

I've already done the main mods that lay the foundation to big gains. Ti responds to mods just as well as DSMs. It's scary easy.

True, and that's what I'm beginning to lean towards. When I posted the car originally a year ago I had 2-3 people a day contact in regards to selling it but had to withdraw due to the Hawaii assignment that is no longer there. Was looking at getting into another subie (OBS, Impreza) that is around the $4K mark to putter around in. And finish paying off debt completely. Find an older Impreza L and start from ground zero as new long term project. But, I'm in no hurry to sell so unless the prime offer comes through I'll keep driving on.
