Yea I'm just talking about the internals lol so if anyone needs any parts let me know!
Anyway I took the heads to the machine shop today to check for cracks & start porting/polish along with the tgv's.

Don't be scared, man. You can port these easily even if you're only just removing the excess "flap." All you have to be is smooth and steady with the grinder.

Re: 2004 STi engine build
Will be getting another block for my build so I guess I'll be selling mine along with all the internals, except crankshaft. My heads were good condition thankfully no cracks, but the block was a bit out of round. Ordered most of my parts already so will be putting her back together soon!

For what you're about to spend, why is sleeving not a consideration?

I did consider sleeving it but it would be too much for the machine work don't really have another daily right now so need to get her running pretty soon

Thankfully none of the internals other than the crank got damaged!

The typical "built" boxer issues. Even the Porsche guys go through this. Good luck, man.

Thanks, I'm still going to try to contact the shop to see if there is any sort of warranty on the assembly since I only got 120 miles out of it.
