Just did some logging and waiting on the revision. Hitting just under 18psi peak which is right around where Eric said it would be. I miss the torque of the 2.5L but I'm loving the car now. Still throws me back just not as hard.

Got my revision but it's hotter than Satan's nustasck in frying pan with peanut oil outside. Going to have to wait until tomorrow to do some logging. Trying to keep it at the same outside temp each time,

I just added a second wastegate spring today. Took me all of 5 minutes, but boy was that too much work for my lazy vacationing ass. I had to make up for it by drinking twice the recommended dosage of beer.

Aww yes. It takes more energy to do stuff while on vacation. I need to drive around for 30+ minutes and do a couple pulls but just feeling too lazy at the moment.

Nope. I guess all the CSMs have the list of those who are doing the MOS transition and those who aren't but are holding on to it and not releasing the names for some reason. Basically they reconfigured the TDAs for all sites and Hawaii only has a slot for one SSG and there is already 3 on site, one of which just got there and there isn't any openings at any other sites. So, until I find out whether or not I'm making the transition I'm stuck here in El Paso.

I could. I've been looking at PA for the past couple years. However, I hurt my hip on my last jump in Italy and have a tear so I have a P2 profile for situps. Also, I have cartilage loss in my left knee along with a potential meniscal tear. Due to that profile I can't convert to Officer. Been working on getting it dropped by everything is gradually getting worse. Thinking about putting a Recruiter packet put in. I can get my E7 that way at least and could possibly go back home to Oregon and recruit from my hometown. I dunno, I'll see what the final say is next week and adjust from there.

As it stands, in a few days I go to my next course. It's funny because I am and am not looking forward to this road trip.

A little lowdown of the transition. Currently my MOS is 68WY6 which translates to Medic with a Specialty of Cardiac Cath. The Army is dropping all ASI's and converting them to their own MOS. So the 68WY6 will now be 68N. If I don't transition to the new 68N MOS I will revert back to being a 68W. All TDA's will be changed and I guess where there used to be 3 E6 slots there will not only be 1. Now, the Hawaii slot was taken away because there is only a slot for one 68N at Tripler and there is already one there that will take that slot apparently. If I do transition to the new MOS more than likely I will be staying in El Paso which is what I was avoiding to begin with. Really want to leave this place. If I go back to being a 68W there is a possibility of staying here and taking over the Clinic again which will keep in the Cardiology field where I will be able to keep my skill set up. Once I find out for sure (next week) I can decide what direction to take.

No work tomorrow for a rare 3-day in the land of AMEDD. Can't do much cause of being on call. Perhaps I can do some more datalogs. Anyway, time to watch Adventures in Babysitting!
